Total bilateral trade rises 23% at year-end 2008
Total bilateral trade rises 23% at the end of 2008, Moroccan exports surge 44%, American exports increased by 13%. Total Moroccan-American trade reached $2397 million by the end of 2008, an increase of 23% compared to the same period the previous year ($1952 million). Moroccan exports were up 44% at $878 million compared to $610 million in 2007, while U.S. exports rose 13% to $1519 million compared to $1343 million in 2007.
