Supply chain management workshop: February 25th
On February 25, NBO addressed the penetration of Moroccan companies in the American market, with a focus on the textile and leather industries. Abaslis, Lenzing, and Logipas were speakers at the event.
NBO, part of the USAID program, helps promote Moroccan products on the American market, in part by outlining major sectors of interest and market trends. In particular, the NBO focuses on four sectors - textiles and clothing, leather and shoes, automobile parts, and the fishing industry.

Absalis is dedicated to helping businesses optimize their performance. Although Moroccan products have a good export history with European markets, companies are interested in expanding their influence on the American market, particularly in light of the recent Morocco-USA Free Trade Agreement. Absalis promoted the development of "niche" companies that do not attack the general market, but focus on a specialized sector.
The Austrian-based Lenzing group is a truly international presence in the textile market, with the company is present in Austria, China, Indonesia, the UK, and the United States. Of all production, 86 percent is exported, with Asia representing the majority of its market. Using a strategy of economic, environmental, and social responsibility, the group has grown to be a global presence in the textile market.
